Blackie

Blackie

DLH - male

Special Needs Cat

Poor Blackie has a skin condition that will require a 6mthly injection for the rest of his life. If left untreated he gets mild but noticeable scabby skin

Blackie has a gorgeous temperment provided you're not a dog nor a young, loud, energetic child. Blackie is best with an older child (3yr +) and/or adult home. He is talkative and affecionate. He chooses to sleep on your bed and will make himself right at home. He is very majestic.

Blackie was adopted on 28 January 2008 after 6 months in foster care

Sheba

Sheba

Siberian Husky - female

Foster Carer Required Urgently

Sheba's last day will be 7/1/08 if a carer or permanent home cannot be found

Sheba is very people orientated and loves sitting at your feet while you're on the computer or watching TV. She likes belly rubs and attention and she's good with older children. She is very people friendly and quite playful. She'd make and excellent walking or jogging companion and she is a fairly obedient girl who can sit and comes when called (which is a wonderful trait in a husky). She is learning not to jump up and is progressing well with her training. Being a husky she is not suitable for a first time dog owner and will need a home with secure fencing. sheba needs a home with other dogs for company. Sheba is a really friendly girl who deserves a home of her own. She is submissive with other dogs on first meeting but like most husky's she does like to be the dominant female, so a home with a male dog would be ideal (or she is also fine with other dominant females who can put her in her place)

Sheba was adopted on 28 January 2008 after 11 months in foster care

Chance

Chance

DSH - female

Poor Chance was found on the street, fending for herself and her babies when DCH took her in. Now that her babies have found homes, Chance would like to find that special someone to give her a loving home too. Chance loves to wander around the house, exploring new places and playing with her toys. She also loves to curl up in your lap while your watching TV. Chance doesn't like other cats or dogs, and would prefer to be the only pet in the household. She would make the perfect apartment cat as she is 100% litter and scratching post trained and isn't really fussed about going outside. Chance is also excellent at amusing herself with her toys and is not destructive while her owners are away at work. If you're a busy person and would like a 'no fuss' cat then Chance is the cat for you!

Chance was adopted on 23 January 2008 after 4 weeks in foster care

Nutella and Kevin

Nutella and Kevin

DMH - mixed

They were both emaciated and quite weak when they came into care but with some intensive feeding and rehydrating they are making a full recovery and will be ready for adoption around the first week of January. It would be fantastic if they could be rehomed together as they get on really well and love playing and cuddling together however they can be rehomed separately also. Both Kevin and Nutella are very easygoing kittens who have taken meeting new cats and dogs in their stride. Both will be medium to long haired cats. Kevin's eyes are not aligned completely straight, he has the reverse of cross eyes, with his eyes facing slightly outwards. He gets around easily and hasn't shown any sign of not seeing well however as his judgement of depths and distances is likely to be affected, this could be dangerous in the outside world, so he will need to be a solely indoor cat. Both kittens love a cuddle and will make a fantastic addition to most households.

Nutella and Kevin was adopted on 23 January 2008 after 1 month in foster care

Wuzzle

Boston and Brooklyn

Boston and Brooklyn

DSH - male

Boston and Brooklyn are two gorgeous 8 week old kittens who were sadly left at the pound just after Christmas. They are both lovable and affectionate kittens and are looking for a permanent home to call their own. Boston is jet black in colour with gorgeous little eyes that are always thinking. He is adventurous and loves to play with toys and balls. He spends hours playing and wrestling with his brother and my other foster kittens. He also doesn't mind being around my small dog. Brooklyn is a beautiful coloured tabby kitten with striking eyes and coat. He loves to let you know he is around and loves to be cuddled and snuggled up on your lap. He also is playful and loves playing hide and seek with his brother and laying with anything he can get his little paws on. Both Boston and Brooklyn are litter trained and are available together or separately and would make a lovely addition to your family. Both kittens are being cared for in the Shellharbour Area and would love to meet you.

Boston and Brooklyn was adopted on 22 January 2008 after 2 weeks in foster care

Ollie

Ollie

DSH - male

Ollie might be small in size but in no way could you say that about Ollie's character. He is a very enquisitive little boy around the home and loves to find things to entertain himself. He loves to play with toys and is good playing with small children. He is also great playmates with other kittens and is great with my small dog. Ollie also has the most adorable cuddly side to him. He is very content and loves nothing better the finding a comfy position next to you or on your lap on the lounge and will snuggle and purr for hours. Ollie has the most gorgeous coat

he looks a cross between a leopard and a tiger which is just adorable. Ollie will make a great new family member to any household and will provide unconditional love for a lifetime. Ollie would love to meet you and is being cared for in the Shellharbour Area.

Ollie was adopted on 22 January 2008 after 3 weeks in foster care

Minchen

Minchen

DMH - male

Minchen is a gorgeous little boy with a playful personality. He is very affectionate and loves nothing more than cuddling up at any time of the day or night. He loves to play and would probably suit a home that will have someone at home most days.

Minchen was adopted on 20 January 2008 after 1 month in foster care

Ginge

Ginge

DSH - male

Mischeivous and playful ginge would be the perfect addition to any cat lover's home whether they be a couple, individual or family. Ginge is curious, cheeky and sociable and loves to play whether that be with people or by himself. Ginge was the first of his litter (including mother, Nefetiti) to introduce himself to my existing cat who he gets on very well with often playing with her under the door.

Ginge was adopted on 19 January 2008 after 2 weeks in foster care
