Little Darling

Little Darling

DSH - male

This little darling only wants one thing in life.... an energetic young boy or girl to play with! Little Darling spends his days playing alone as his brother has already found a home, and the other cats in the household are too old to tolerate such an energetic boy. Little Darling is lonely, but comes to life when someone brings out his toys. He's very energetic and loves to dart in and out his cat tube. He also loves to be patted, and will purr loudly as soon as he is picked up. Little darling is great with other cats (well, as long as they like to play!) and has also grown up with a small dog. He is litter trained, scratching post trained and is super gentle with anyone he meets. Visit him today and meet your new best friend!

Little Darling was adopted on 11 July 2008 after 5 months in foster care

Pash

Pash

DSH - female

Pash is a very affectionate cat who was found abandoned, starving and in alot of pain due to a broken hip socket. the vet thinks she may have been hit by a car quite some time ago as it looked like a very old injury and Pash was never treated. Since her operation Pash has fully recovered, the only side effect Pash will have is that she will always now walk with a limp, so Pash would be suitable as an indoor cat only, in a nice quiet household without small children. Pash gets on well with our whole family and doesn't seem to mine the family dog.So if you would like a cat who is very affectionate, who will shower you with kisses and who is quiet content to laid around the house all day, then Pash is the cat for you.

Pip

Pip

DSH - male

Pip is the same but more curious and cheeky then Fritz. PIp would suit any household too, sometimes we would swear that Pip is human they way he likes to interact with people. Both of them are very squishy and cuddly.

Pip was adopted on 06 July 2008 after 2 months in foster care

Gomez

Gomez

DSH - male

Gomez is an affectionate black indoors only cat who would make a great companion. He will greet you when you come home from work (after having slept the day away) with purrs and rubs against your legs. He will happily sit next to you (or in your lap if you are interested) while you watch TV and loves a chin scratch. He does not trash the furniture and is very low maintenance. He has had no problems learning and respecting which rooms he is allowed into.He is not a great talker but will call for you if he wants to know where you are. Although he is fine with children he is probably best suited to an adult or older children household as he can be timid with loud sudden noises. He is ok with dogs who are calm around cats. Although he is only a year old he is not overly playful. He is fine with other cats and would love a mature (No kittens please) companion as he does enjoy another cats company . He loves his food and will tolerate a bath. The more affection you give him the more he gives back.

Gomez was adopted on 06 July 2008 after 7 months in foster care

Cherry

Cherry

Papillon x? - female

Cherry came into care with her one day old pups having been picked up in a paddock by the ranger. She showed no interest in being loved or cared for and did not even wag her tail. After 5 days we managed to see the frost was beginning to thaw and she came to me for some love and since then she haven't looked back. She had such severe ear blockage in both ears due to neglect and we thought that she may be permanently deaf but luckily for Cherry our vet has been able to clear the ears and she can now hear and is a normal healthy little girl. She only comes up to mid-calf (30cms to her shoulder height) and she has a slightly feathery coat and is a wonderful chest-nutty colour. Her pups have been rehomed so she is ready to go to a family wanting a contented, lovely sweet nature dog to adore.

Cherry was adopted on 04 July 2008 after 3 months in foster care

Muffin

Muffin

Tibetan Spaniel x - female

Muffin is a soft submissive natured girl. She loves to snuggle against your side or sit on your lap. She rolls over onto her back at the drop of a hat. Muffin is a little timid to begin with but once she knows you mean her no harm she warms right up. She gets along well with other dogs and would make an excellent playmate for an existing dog. Muffin is fantastic and gentle with children and walks well on a lead.

Muffin was adopted on 28 June 2008 after 2 weeks in foster care

Shagpile

Shagpile

DSH - female

This poor little girl was found starving in a paddock, she was exceptionally underweight when she came into care, but 2 weeks on and she's fattening up and is otherwise very healthy. She is a purry, affectionate, loving little girl. Shaggy is a complete sook and she is great with other cats and will make someone a terrific lapcat.

Shagpile was adopted on 28 June 2008 after 3 months in foster care

Duke and Daisy

Duke and Daisy

DSH - mixed

Daisy and Duke are both extremely affectionate playful kittens. Duke is the boldest kitten who follows you around like a little shadow hoping to be picked up. He is happiest when sat as close to you as possible, preferably on you. Daisy is a gentle girl who is very keen to sit with you and be cuddled. She is a bit more timid than her brother but still adventurous and playful. Neither kitten is worried by the grumpy resident adult cat.

Duke and Daisy was adopted on 27 June 2008 after 4 weeks in foster care
