Salem is an outgoing, confident boy and he's looking for a home that is happy to be taken over by his lovely, dominate nature. Salem loves cuddles and adores people, he craves company so he'd be ideal for someone who wants a cat that will be around them all the time. He is quite playful and when he's done with running around with the other kittens at his carers place he loves to snuggle up to you for snoozes. Porscha

Porscha

Collie Rough - female

Porsha was rehomed by the RSPCA and some 12 months later after being given to another home she ended up at the pound, surrendered, because she is terrified of storms. She tries to run away from the storms so she would need at least 6ft high secure fencing and a safe enclosure for her to hide in when she cant escape. She is an extremely gentle and friendly girl, is well behaved, great with other dogs, walks well on a lead, loves the car and would make a family a very wonderful addition to any family as long as she is in a safe secure environment.

Porscha was adopted on 17 January 2009 after 1 month in foster care

Hissy

Hissy

DSH - female

Special Needs Kitten

Hissy is a bit confused after spending the first few months of her life alone in a paddock. She came into care extremely underweight and full of worms. She hadn't known human attention and unlike the other kittens also found in the paddock who soaked up their foster carers cuddles and attention after a few days, Hissy was a bit too traumatised. Several months later and she is a fit and healthy young girl who now enjoys cuddles and will headbutt you for more pats and arch her back in delight of receiving attention. However she's a bit mixed up and instead of meowing for attention she hisses (hence her name). Hissy is just getting used to being picked up and she will require a home that can be patient and continue her recovery. Hissy would be suited to a home with or without other cats and preferably a quieter household. She will most likely turn into a lovely lapcat in the right environment.

Update 29/6/08: Hissy is progressing into a very affectionate cat. She loves attention and rushes to you for pats and caresses. She's tolerant of being picked up but is yet to truly enjoy a good cuddle. She is happy being nose to nose for kisses and although she is still hissing at odd moments, she seems to be starting to learn to meow and squeak for attention like a normal cat.

Hissy was adopted on 11 January 2009 after 8 months in foster care

Princess

Princess

Golden Retriever x Poodle - female

Princess needs a home where she will be loved forever. She is a real cutie with a gentle, placid nature. She adores people, going for walks and having her belly scratched. Princess becomes overwhelmed with excitable dogs so would be best placed with a person who does not have any other dogs or has older, calmer dogs. Princess is being cared for in the Wollongong area.
