Kosta

Kosta

DSH - male

Kosta is a stunningly handsome cat and he seems to know it! With pink ears and nose he is most suited to an indoor only home. He can be quite affectionate on his own terms and really does love a pat but what he loves even more is to play! For this reason he wouldn't be suited to a home with children or someone after a placid lapcat. He is still a little untrusting at times so he needs a patient home with a family willing give him time to settle in. So if you're looking for an independent cat who wants a bit of attention and daily pats but who is always amusing and fun to have around then Kosta is the man for the job.

Akina, Caprice, Scooter

Akina, Caprice, Scooter

DSH - mixed

These kittens have been raised in a home with children and are all lovely and friendly they will make nice family pets. they should fit into mosy households with ease. Poor Akina came into care with a heavy worm burden that didn't respond to the usual worming protocols. With a build up of worms so bad that she had a hard lump in her intestines she was rushed to the vets where she was able to receive treatment and get rid of the worms. She'd lost a lot of weight during this time, but only days later she was out of the woods and on her way to a full recovery.

Akina's vet fees have come to $120. If you can help us cover some of these additional vet costs please call Megan on 9627 2767 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or click below.

Thank you to Carly and Jan for their donations towards Akina. Her vet bills have now been fully covered

Pippa

Pippa

x Abyssinian? - female

Pippa is a kitten trapped in an adults body. She loves to play, and can amuse herself for hours playing with toys and her feline friends. She is very talkative, and will meow to get your attention. Pippa isn't really a lap cat, but she loves to be patted and purrs loudly when stroked. She is 100% litter trained and scratching post trained and is not at all destructive. Pippa would like to be adopted to a family with an existing cat as she would get lonely without company. The family that adopts her will be rewarded with an easy going feline friend.

Teakie

Teakie

DSH - female

Teakie is a very friendly and affectionate desexed female. She would best suit a house with no children only because she hasn't ever really had any contact with kids. She likes to be indoors however access to outside would be good as well as she likes to go 'for a wander' a couple of times a day. she is fully housetrained. Teakie is in need of a new home due to the requirements of my job having me travelling away most weeks. Teakie is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations.

Benjamin

Benjamin

DSH - male

Benjamin is a beautifully marked kitten, with stripes on his side and spots on his back! He loves a cuddle and is always very gentle; and when he's finished playing with his toys, he loves a good nap.

Benjamin unfortunately came down a bout of ringworm a month ago. Fully recovered now we are seeking sponsorship to help cover his medications which came to $122.

If you can help please call Judy on 9674 4824 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or click below Thank you to JS Security for their donation towards Ben's vet care. Benjamin's fees have now been fully sponsored.

Leyla

Leyla

DSH - female

Little Leyla is an absolute bundle of joy and is sure to bring much pleasure to her new home. She loves to 'stay close' to her Humans, and is sure to follow you everywhere. She has gorgeous big eyes which could spend all day just looking at you. She also loves to play, so she would be ideal for a family who has a few tennis balls / play toys to throw her way! She has a beautiful soft coat, and gorgeous long legs

perfect for the catwalk!

Leyla was adopted on 08 March 2010 after 4 days in foster care

Jasper

Jasper

DSH - male

Jasper has a really soft coat and is lovely to snuggle into. He likes to find a quiet spot and snooze all day if you let him, but if you go looking for him and call him he comes straight away and is very friendly. He purrs every time he is picked up and is coping very well with a younger kitten in the house mugging him constantly. Jasper is a bit scared of dogs but is getting used to them and he is on the quiet rather than outgoing side which means he'll make a wonderful pet for almost any household after a friendly, sooky companion.

Jasper was adopted on 08 March 2010 after 3 months in foster care

Princess

Princess

DSH - female

Princess is a wonderful little cat, lots of fun and great to have around. She is always friendly and very chatty especially in the morning when she thinks it is time for you to get up and entertain her. She is not bothered by strangers, confidant around other cats and not afraid to give as good as she gets. In fact her playful energy often gets her into trouble with our bigger tom but she has a good pair of lungs and can stick up for herself.

Princess likes a lot of fuss and will readily purr (loudly) to show her affection. She doesn't mind being picked up even if she would rather just play. And her party trick? Well she loves paper. She loves the sound of paper being scrunched up and loves it even better when it is thrown for her so that she can chase it and bring it back for you to throw again. She also has great paper ball control and can dribble with the best of them.

She will make a great companion to anyone with a bit of time to give her. She is a very pretty cat, affectionate, gentle and cheeky. She will provide you with hours of entertainment, just be prepared to be encouraged out of bed in the morning by a loud purr and ball of paper dropped on your head. Time to play!

The lovely Princess developed a lump on her back and a vet investigation revealed a large abscess. This had to be opened up, cleaned out and drained. Luckily this is healing well and Princess should make a full recovery.

If you can help sponsor some of the additional vet costs involved with Princess's surgery, which have come to $216, please call Megan on 9627 2767 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or click below.

Thank you to Lisette, Maureen and Jan for their generous contributions towards Princess's vet fees. Her fees have now been fully covered.

Princess was adopted on 08 March 2010 after 5 months in foster care

Kirk

Kirk

DSH - male

Kirk is a very affectionate kitten, still very small but that doesn't stop him from running around the house chasing feet. I believe he will make a lovely lap cat as he adores his cuddles and will patiently follow you around until he gets one. Kirk will be available for adoption after the 19th of March.
