This kitten was born to Rivers who was living in a factory environment in Riverstone being cared for by the workers. After being born they were living outside in a cardboard box on a trailer and were surrendered into foster care to provide them a safer environment.

Rivers has raised her kittens in doors and they are now ready to find a new home. They are used to human contact and will make for great companions. They are wanting to live in a lovely home environment enjoying the comforts of life.

Flash

Flash

Domestic Short Hair - female - 4 months and 1 weeks

Flash was abandoned with her siblings, Darci and Darla, when she was only 1-2 days old. She has been bottle fed and hand raised, and has a white flash of lighting on her little face. Flash was the tiny girl of the litter, initially weighing in at only 87 grams!

This beautiful kitten is eating wet and dry food very well and loves lapping fresh water. She is also friends with 2 cats and doesn't mind our 2 big dogs, as long as they don't surprise her! Flash might have been the runt but she makes up for it now, in character!

UPDATE: Flash has become a very cuddly little girl with a soft, silky coat and should be an Indoor Only cat. She comes running at the click of my fingers and likes to snuggle in for a cuddle on the lounge. Flash is very affectionate and loves people!

If you would like to meet Flash, please get in touch...

Flash has been in foster care since 25 November 2018, for 1 month

This lovable kitten is eating wet and dry food very well and loves lapping fresh water. He is also friends with 2 big dogs and 2 cats.

UPDATE: Darci has become a very curious boy, finding new places to explore for a kitten nap, when he isn't chasing his sisters! He absolutely loves getting a head scratch and enjoys having a cuddle while sitting on my shoulder.

If you would like to meet Darci, please get in touch...

Darci has been in foster care since 25 November 2018, for 1 month

Ferdinand

Ferdinand

DSH - male - 3 months and 2 weeks

Hello,

My name is Ferdinand. I'm extremely handsome.... and just look at my tail!!!
I'm the beeeautiful grey kitty (my brother, Fergus is the other rather ordinary black one, although I still play with him). I would love to come and live at yours forever!

We live happily with a German Shepherd doggie, other kitties and a rabbit... oh, and our human foster carers. You can't want more multi cultural pets!

I'm a shy kitty, I usually wait for my brother to test the waters before I come over to check things out. Don't get me wrong though - I LOVE to play! I like being picked up once I feel safe and I will purr and 'flop' into you. Meal times are my favourite - I love to eat! My main preferences are fish and roast chicken but I'm also fond of whatever you're eating. I'm very clean, I use my litter tray every time and I don't make a mess. I'm very confident around dogs and other cats but take time to trust my human. If you think you'd like to meet and possibly give me a forever home, contact my carer! We'd love to hear from you!

Kind regards,

Ferdinand

Ferdinand has been in foster care since 12 December 2018, for 1 month

Missy

Missy

Dsh - female - 2 months and 2 weeks

Missy was rescued along with her sister, Cuddles, by a good samaritan who is now fostering them on behalf of DCH.

Missy is a sassy, playful, outgoing and adventurous little girl. All she wants to do is play, explore and get head rubs. She is very sociable, and extremely inquisitive about her surroundings. Missy is smaller than her sister but that doesn’t faze her. She makes up for it with her bigger than life and playful attitude.

After a few episodes of karate kitten, Missy particularly likes playing with the other household pets, and follows them around for play time. Missy is a crazy and energetic little kitten who is entertaining to watch, fun to play with for hours and cuddle with when she is tired and wants a nap. Missy gets along well with children and other pets in her foster home with no problem, and loves people.

Missy has fitted in her foster home immediately, and is sure to bring much joy to her new furever (and energetic!) family.

Missy will be microchipped and vaccinated prior to adoption. De-sexing is also included in her adoption fee.

Do contact us if you’d like to learn more or arrange a meet and greet and meet Missy in her Stanhope Gardens foster home.

Missy has been in foster care since 09 January 2019, for 2 weeks

Cuddles

Cuddles

Dsh - female - 2 months and 2 weeks

Cuddles was rescued along with her sister, Missy, by a good samaritan who is now fostering them on behalf of DCH.

Cuddles can be a little bit shy and timid when you first meet her, as she takes a little bit of time getting to know her surroundings and new people. Once she is comfortable however, true to her name she is the cuddliest snuggle bug there is.

Cuddles just demands for you to give her love and affection and rubs her head on your leg, arm, face until you give in, sit down and pet her until she has had enough (which is never). She likes playing with her sister, Missy, however Cuddles, true to her name, is more mellow and would rather cuddle and sleep under your chin, on your shoulder or on your lap.

Cuddles gets along well with the other pets in her foster home, once she warms up to them and realises they are not a threat. She also gets along with children and shows lots of love and affection to whoever she meets.

Cuddles will be microchipped and vaccinated prior to adoption. De-sexing is included in her adoption fee.

Do contact us if you’d like to learn more or arrange a meet and greet and meet Cuddles in her Stanhope Gardens foster home.

Cuddles has been in foster care since 09 January 2019, for 2 weeks

Elmo (Deaf Kitten)

Elmo (Deaf Kitten)

DMH - male - 3 months

Elmo was found with his 3 snow white siblings and came into DCH care, very undernourished and flea-bitten. However, this litttle guy meowed loudly for attention as soon as he saw people and surprisingly showed no fear at all.

Elmo's meow was very loud and long and he slept so soundly he didn't stir. It soon became apparent there was something a little different about Elmo... he is deaf!

This beautiful blue eyed boy will need a special Indoor Only Home as he needs to be kept safe. Just because Elmo is deaf, it doesn't stop him from being curious and playful and getting into mischief, like any other kitten! Elmo just needs a safe and caring home, and he will reward you with affection.

Elmo has met other cats and kittens and is very sociable! It may also help having another cat/kitten around him that is not deaf, so that they can communicate and the cat with hearing can teach him routines.

Living with a deaf cat needs a little extra time and patience, so you do need to give some thought to this beforehand. Like all cats though, deaf cats are beautiful, and deserve loving and responsible forever homes.

Elmo (Deaf Kitten) has been in foster care since 19 December 2018, for 1 month

Eadee

Eadee

DMH - female - 3 months

Eadee was found with her 3 snow white siblings and came into DCH care, very undernourished and flea-bitten. This gorgeous blue-eyed girl is very people orientated and relaxes in your arms when she is picked up for a cuddle.

Eadee is litter trained and very happy being an Inside Only kitten. She has met other foster kittens and is quite sociable but is still a little nervous around loud noises. Eadee does have medium length hair, so she will need to be brushed to look her best!

If you would like the company of a cuddly kitten, you are most welcome to come and meet Eadee!

Eadee has been in foster care since 19 December 2018, for 1 month

Elijah

Elijah

DMH - male - 3 months

Elijah was found with his 3 snow white siblings and came into DCH care, very undernourished and flea-bitten. This elegant green-eyed boy is still a bit reserved but his curiosity usually gets the better of him.

Eli is litter trained and very happy being an Inside Only kitten. Eli also has a medium length coat, which is quite thick and plush, so he will need to be brushed to look his best!
