Scooby

Scooby

Beagle/Beaglier - male

Meet delightful Scooby; an 8 year old Beagle/Beaglier who is a ball of energy. With good looks and sweet gentle nature, the first suitable prospective owner will fall in love with him straight away.

Scooby previously was owned by a lovely lady who found herself having to care for her father and because she worked a full time job, had less time to give Scooby so unselfishly surrendered him into DCH care. He travelled for 2 hours to get to me and when I approached the car his tail was wagging..

Scooby is a delightful youthful boy weighing in at around 20 kilos. He has a beautiful coat and is used to spending his days outside. It is clear he just loves human company and gets along with 2 older dogs in his current foster home. He loves laying on the tiled floor to keep his tummy cool and also loves his tummy tickled and legs massaged.

On walks, Scooby walks well on the lead, does not pull excessively and approaches other dogs and says hi and also loves dog parks. There's not
a nasty bone in Scooby's body. Scooby is also vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and desexed, as part of the adoption fee.

Scooby met with a family on 30/03/19 who have decided to adopt him after his recovery.
UPDATE ON SCOOBY: The day after Scooby was delivered the carer noticed he was not walking properly on his hind left leg. The vet has determined it is a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury which will require surgery scheduled for 3rd April. Considering this, if anyone can contribute to his Operation and associated costs, donations over $2 are tax deductable. Thank you in advance

Scooby was adopted on 30 May 2019 after 2 months in foster care

Pixie

Pixie

DSH - female

  • Despite her striking looks and loving nature, Pixie has not yet been adopted into a furever home. She is rather shy with visitors, so you might wish to take some time when you meet her - but we can see no other reason at all for her being overlooked. We are, though, very aware that older kitties are often passed by in favour of cute little kittens! Pixie is not old, of course, and maturity brings many benefits; she would make a loving addition to your family.

Pixie was fostered together with her teenage mum and 3 siblings, all of whom have found homes.

Pixie has a unique personality; she enjoys exploring, as well as standing at your feet meowing at you and sitting next to you on the lounge. She’s used to being handled by young children, although she does take a little time to adjust initially.

She can be a little skittish if there is too much loud noise and sudden movement so a family with older children would be best, and equally, of course, singles and couples.

When happy, Pixie can get ecstatic - not only purring loudly, but sticking her rear in the air, and rolling over to expose her belly to you …. And is known to drool with bliss!

Pixie is already de-sexed and microchipped, and is up to date on all her vet requirements.

She’s currently homed with two other cats.

If you’d like to arrange to meet Pixie at her Campbelltown foster home, please contact her carer, Imaan.

  • Pixie was adopted on 24 May 2019 after 1.5 years in foster care

    Magic

    Magic

    Domestic Medium Hair - female

Magic is the smartest of the litter. She may have started out as the runt but she was the first to reach each milestone. She is super friendly, playful and has gorgeous flecks of grey throughout her coat.

Magic is to be rehomed to an indoor-only home with responsible pet owners. She is looking for a family that will spoil her rotten! Magic is litter-trained, vaccinated, flead, wormed and microchipped. She will be desexed prior to rehoming. Please call or text her foster carer if you would like to meet this sweet girl.

    Pistachio

    Pistachio

    Domestic - female

Pistachio is a curious and clever girl who loves to make eye contact with you and monitor your litter cleaning and dinner preparation.

She also enjoys playing with her siblings and brings them her ‘catch’ of the day (which is a teaser butterfly).

As she has very strong attachment with her siblings, it will be ideal if she could go to a forever loving home with one of her siblings.

Preferably to be an indoor cat.

    Located in Hurstville

Adoption fee includes Microchipping, Vaccination, Worming and Desexing.

Pistachio was adopted on 22 May 2019 after 2 months in foster care
