Tilly

Tilly

DSH - female

She's a dear little thing and loves cuddling up with my 3yr old so she'd be perfect with small children. She's not scared of anything and has a beautiful nature.

Sarah

Sarah

DSH - female

Sarah has a gorgeous playful yet cuddly personality. She loves to snuggle up on your lap and give you cuddles and kisses and watch TV with you. She also loves her playtime as all kittens do but she is not destructive in her play. She gets along with our large dog and also generally with other cats that she's had time to get to know (she's scared of them at first). She's amazingly gentle with my two small children and hasn't scratched or bitten them during playtime. At bedtime she loves to snuggle up with you on the bed however she doesn't mind sleeping in her cat bed either if her new owner prefers. People going to the toilet seems to be a calling card for her and you'll no doubt find her coming in to join you if the door isn't closed wanting to chat and curl herself around your legs. She has beautiful markings and a pretty pink nose which means she will need to be an inside cat to protect her from the sun. Overall she would make a wonderful companion for almost any family with and without other pets and children.

Sarah was adopted on 28 August 2006 after 1 month in foster care

Jazz

Jazz

DSH - female

Jazz is a very elegant, graceful and quiet kitten. She found herself without a home when her owner passed away suddenly. Luckily for Jazz one of our carers was at the pound when she was being surrendered so she was quickly whisked into foster care. She loves to be cuddled and patted, and is a very relaxed little girl.

Jazz was adopted on 26 August 2006 after 5 days in foster care

Chesss Kittens

Chess's Kittens

DSH - male

Friendly little kittens. Oriental type. Available seperately and ready to go to their new homes on 25/8/06.

Chess's Kittens was adopted on 22 August 2006 after 5 days in foster care

Kiwi

Kiwi

DMH - female

Friendly, placid young cat. Kiwi is used to other cats and children. She is a cuddly girl who will make a great addition to any family.

Update 28/7/06: Poor Kiwi has just been uprooted from the home she has known since she was born and she is finding the transition difficult. She is a very soft natured girl and is quite shy in her new carers home. She is slowly coming around but she is obviously unsure of where she is and why she has moved. So, the quicker Kiwi can go to a permanent home, with a caring family willing to give her lots of love and attention, the sooner she will settle down and be her old self again.

Kiwi was adopted on 20 August 2006 after 3 months in foster care

Stripey

Stripey

DSH - female

Special Needs Cat

If you are looking for a cat that adores people and is extremely affectionate then Stripey could be the one for you. She is the type of cat that will make friends instantly with all she meets, her favourite place is curled up under your chin getting cuddles. She is BRILLANT with small children and will happily be carted around for hours being held like a baby and played with. Stripey is great with other cats and makes friends quickly with new cats. She is THE most loving, friendly girl and is happy being inside only or inside/outside.

However, Stripey is a special needs cat due to a bout of cat flu when she was much younger. While not contagious at all, she is now a permanent sufferer. This can mean that at times of stress her symptoms can re-appear but the real problem is that she makes a snuffley noise when she breathes. This does not affect her in anyway in terms of her general health but does mean that care needs to be taken if ever she requires an anesthetic. Unfortunately medications have failed to clear the congestion and it looks like something she will have for the rest of her life. So she is looking for someone who can look (or listen) past the breathing noises she makes and that someone will be rewarded with the most lovely, adoring little girl!

Stripey was adopted on 17 August 2006 after 6 months in foster care
