Elmo (Deaf Kitten)

Elmo (Deaf Kitten)

DMH - male - 3 months

Elmo was found with his 3 snow white siblings and came into DCH care, very undernourished and flea-bitten. However, this litttle guy meowed loudly for attention as soon as he saw people and surprisingly showed no fear at all.

Elmo's meow was very loud and long and he slept so soundly he didn't stir. It soon became apparent there was something a little different about Elmo... he is deaf!

This beautiful blue eyed boy will need a special Indoor Only Home as he needs to be kept safe. Just because Elmo is deaf, it doesn't stop him from being curious and playful and getting into mischief, like any other kitten! Elmo just needs a safe and caring home, and he will reward you with affection.

Elmo has met other cats and kittens and is very sociable! It may also help having another cat/kitten around him that is not deaf, so that they can communicate and the cat with hearing can teach him routines.

Living with a deaf cat needs a little extra time and patience, so you do need to give some thought to this beforehand. Like all cats though, deaf cats are beautiful, and deserve loving and responsible forever homes.

Elmo (Deaf Kitten) has been in foster care since 19 December 2018, for 1 month

Felix

Felix

DSH - male - 7 months and 3 weeks

Felix is a super friendly, chilled out young man. More like a dog in temperament at times. He likes a belly rub, following you around and just being near his humans.

Felix gets along great with other cats and dogs and will quickly adapt to his new home. He has a lovely quiet meow and is very healthy.

As he loves to walk at your feet (or lie on them if you stop for long enough) then he's probably not suited for the elderly. Otherwise he will be a great addition to any home.

This boy is a real find and he's ready and waiting for his new home now.

Felix is microchipped and vaccinated, and his adoption fee includes de-sexing.

Felix has been in foster care since 25 December 2018, for 4 weeks
