Calister (aka Cali)

Calister (aka Cali)

Domestic Medium Haired - female - 1 year

Calister found herself lost and homeless with her two 10 week old babies when just a wee kitty herself. A great mum to her own kittens, Ally and Judge, it’s time for this lovely calico girl to be thoroughly spoilt by her own furever family.

Calister has happily lived alongside 4 resident adult cats, as well as multiple foster kittens including her own. Not yet 1 year old herself, she loves socialising and playing and sharing toys with them all.

She loooves her people, though. Calister has proved to be a real sweetheart and super affectionate. She’s also keen on a good chat, and has taken to being brushed like she was born to it! With a good scratch and petting added in she’s in heaven – although if she’s allowed on her carer’s bed, that is the icing on the cake.

Given all her attributes, we believe she’d adjust happily into any family provided she is not left alone for too long- a home with a resident cat to chill with could be good. While Calister needs to be able to keep an eye on the outside world for entertainment, she would be best as an indoor only kitty.

Calister is ready and waiting to meet her new furever family

Calister (aka Cali) has been in foster care since 05 December 2019, for 2 months

Zircon

Zircon

DSH - male - 4 months and 3 weeks

Introducing Zircon, the only boy from a litter of 6 kittens. When he came into care he weighed less than 200grams, and his carer feared that he may not make it through the first few days. Now he is a strong, playful and friendly kitten, who loves exploring and spending his days playing, cuddling and napping.

Zircon is being fostered in Lithgow, just past the Blue Mountains, and is waiting to meet you!

The 'Precious Gemstones' litter was born to a feral mum cat at a Warehouse in Western Sydney. They came into care terribly undersized, covered in fleas and very hungry. Now after several weeks in care getting wormed, de-flead, vaccinated, microchipped, and given endless amounts of love and affection, they are ready to go to their new home now

Zircon is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.

All kittens have been well socialised with other cats and have been introduced to dogs, and will adapt well to any home. They all use their litter tray and scratching post, and enjoy a varied diet of kitten kibble, canned kitten food, chicken wings, chicken livers, chicken hearts and fresh meat.

MinnieMouse

MinnieMouse

DSH - female - 3 months and 4 weeks

MinnieMouse came into foster care from the pound scared and frightened. She is gradually learning to love humans and now purrs loudly when being held.
She is adorably cute with the other kittens at her foster carers home, and enjoys playing with them, and with toys (check out the video!).

MinnieMouse is looking for an indoor-only home with a caring, patient owner that is willing to give her the time she needs to settle into her new home. She would be a great companion for an existing cat in your home.

While everything is still all a little frightening for this young lady, she has been introduced to dogs and children, and is making rapid progress to the noises and activity in an active household.

Her adoption fee includes her desexing, 1st vaccination and microchipping, as well as her being current with flea and deworming schedules.

MinnieMouse has a brother who is also looking for a home: https://www.dchanimaladoptions.com.au/animal-4764-incare-cat-ochre-domestic-short-hair.php

Opal

Opal

DMH - female - 4 months and 3 weeks

Opal is the fluffiest one in the litter and is likely to grow into a Domestic Medium Hair, rather than a Short Hair. She is very brave and outgoing, and is often the first out of the lot to go exploring throughout the house. She enjoys cuddles with her carer and snoozing on the couch.

Opal is being fostered in Lithgow, just past the Blue Mountains, and would be delighted to meet you.

The 'Precious Gemstones' litter was born to a feral mum cat at a Warehouse in Western Sydney. They came into care terribly undersized, covered in fleas and very hungry. Now after several weeks in care getting wormed, de-flead, vaccinated, microchipped, and given endless amounts of love and affection, these kittens will be available to go to their new home by the end of the year on a desexing contract. This is a signed agreement between DCH and the new owner to have their kitten desexed within 4 months of adoption.
The adoption fee covers their first vaccination, microchipping and desexing, when performed at an approved DCH-supporting vet.

All kittens have been well socialised with other cats and have been introduced to dogs, and will adapt well to any home. They all use their litter tray and scratching post, and enjoy a varied diet of kitten kibble, canned kitten food, chicken wings, chicken livers, chicken hearts and fresh meat.
