Blackie and his brother Mooey are looking for a new home (together or separately) after their owner had to move house and was unable to find a rental that allowed them.

These two brothers have grown up together and are great mates. While Mooey is quite affectionate, Blackie has been a bit traumatised by the move into foster care and has taken about 6 weeks to come out of his shell and let his carer pat him. He's now coming up for headbutts at dinner time and cautiously accepting a pat. His previous owner found him fairly confident with new people once he got to know them and a typical, friendly, cuddly cat with them. We are sure he'll make a great addition to an indoor only home who is cat experienced and willing to give him the chance to settle into his new home. For this reason Blackie will come on an extended trial period.

Both Blackie and Moeey are used to living with multiple cats but haven't lived with dogs before. They would be better in a home with older, or no, children as they haven't grown up with very young children and will just hide from them.
