Meet Truffles

Truffles came into foster care at the tender age of 2.5 weeks, with her siblings Humphrey, QTPie and Tabbygail and was bottle fed the first few weeks in care.

Truffles is a sweet and affectionate kitten and can be often found during the day sleeping on her foster mums bed alongside the resident dogs, however when the zoomies hit she is off for a game with her siblings.

The more anxious of her siblings, Truffles self-soothes of an evening, and when it is time to watch TV or go to bed she will curl up on her foster mums chest and suck her foster mums shirt while making biscuits in the air. Truffles will grow out of this behaviour as she gets older, and her foster mum can handle the couple of wet spots left on t-shorts and pj tops for some kitten love 😊

Truffles has been raised with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and she happily co-habits with them all. While Truffles has access outside via a cat run in her foster home, she is looking for forever family that can offer her the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access).

Truffles has been desexed, had her first kitten vaccination and is litter trained and will be up to date with her parasite protection - Truffles is ready for adoption now.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.
