Meet Poppy
Hello! My name is Poppy. I am a beautiful, super sweet calico girl.
Do not let my sweet face fool you, I am the leader of my 3 siblings, super high on energy and love to run, jump, climb and play with ribbons, plastic bags, and shoe laces. Another thing I like to play is you trying to chase me, I will go towards you and when you try catching me I'll run as fast as I can, and will be waiting for you to come chase me.
I love cuddles and kisses and will purr in contentment, although if you try to pat me while I'm in my craziest moments I'll probably start biting your hand trying to play with you...But I also love to cuddle and will sleep in your chest when I want to nap, I am pretty sweet and lovely.
When my foster mum found me and my brothers, I was the sickest of the 3. Cat flu really hit me the hardest. I couldn't breathe properly I had to breathe with my mouth open and my chest made some weird sounds. One of my eyes was terribly infected, it had to be cleaned 3 times a day and put an ointment that stung so badly
and made me cry.
Mum thought I wasn't going to make it, or that I was going to lose my eye because it took many weeks to get better.
But look at me now, I am thriving and have the prettiest big eyes.
I would love to go to a family with more cats so I have someone to play with. I haven't been introduced to dogs whatever those are ... But if they're cat friendly, I'm pretty sure we'll get along well.
There are no kids where I live, but I don't think I'll have a problem with them, especially if they like to play with me and my ribbons and are respectful. As long as my new family gives me lots of love and play with me a lot so I don’t get bored I’ll be happy.
